Malas Nak Explain

Siapa ada pe'el seperti di atas, kita geng! Bukan something yang nak bangga pun, sekadar sifat yang termaktub dan bersebati dalam diri. Boleh ubah dengan usaha dan ikhtiar. Tapi sejajar dengan penibgkatan usia, benarlah bagai dikata, hendak melentur buluh biar dari rebungnya (ada orang buat betul ke?).

Nak explain kenapa malas nak explain pun kau dah malas. To me, everyone is man enough to understand stuff. Which is not true. Ada masa dan tempat kena explain dan kadang-kadang guna je common sense. 

Right before ending of university's life, most of my friends plan to further their career in education line which means becoming a lecturer or teacher. I feel so kesian to my future-non existent students that I decided not to pursue the same. And I'm ok with that. Speaking of U, dulu ada one time one of the lecturer ni tanya opinion on something, aku punya la explain tapi dia reject cakap salah. Bila dia rephrase balik, exactly apa yang aku dah explain sebelum tu. I was like whaaaaattt... Itulah kisahnya. Keep lah your opinion to yourself- until online social media born (!) and booming.

Guess I am not a good explainer and most of the time I will be misinterpreted. 

Temerloh & Kuantan

2016 secara umumnya bermula dengan suram jika bersandarkan keadaan ekonomi semasa semata-mata. Maka kenalah creative sikit. Rancang perjalanan domestik! 

So over the weekend, we decided to go to east coast, Pahang Darul Bauksit. I am so pissed to observe the aftermath, mind you it just a friction of it. Anyway 3 main objectives are to visit a family, attend a wedding and meet friends. So much to-do-tick-person I am, glad all are covered. Sort of mission accomplished. Clap. Clap. Clap.

Good catch up with old friends even though it was a short session. Perhaps for the next visit kena puasa seminggu and spend more that 1N so barulah boleh enjoy Kuantan food fest.

Being Famous (for FREE)

Another life changing experience. Saja nak repost; mainly because it reappears in FB 'on this day'. For the whole journey experience you can just read from previous post (in 2011). Ok, article ni memang best, menggambarkan seluruh pengalaman hampir tepat. Bila isteri kau review nothing can go wrong kan. We actually wrote bit longer but yeah the editor did his job lah, cut something a bit, add important message and all that. 

Famous sangat ke? Mula-mula melayang jugak, lama-lama lebih kepada commercial vehicle for them je sebenarnya -which is fair to them. Masuk newspaper, blog, tv (cerita je, bukan aku), magazine and so on (padahal itu aje). Dia dah bagi kau free flight ticket, hotel free (nasib Tune hotel tak commissioned lagi time tu), VIP seating, before/ half time/ after meal- not bad lah. 

The rest korang zoom in la article ni #janganmalas. Sadly QPR relegated, promoted and relegated again since then (dan tiada penampakan nak naik liga 😓).

New Year, New Me

Hello world. It's weird to wish happy new year when you are going to 2nd week of January already. Ah, pedulikan. Blog sendiri kot. 

Seakan mendapat suntikan (botox) baru, rasa nak blog balik. Di kala semua orang rakus dengan social media di alam maya yang lebih in; baca: bersepah budak-budak baru nak up. Sekilas pandangan baru sahaja menjeling bilangan post yang lalu; 2008 tahun yang gemilang, namun ibarat trend harga minyak semasa, bilangan post jatuh merudum. Kehambaran blog ini memang dijangkakan. Namun 2016 bakal menjadi medan kebangkitan! Ni dah tahap azam la kiranya ya. Alah, janganlah berkira sangat.. Support ajelah yok! 

First revival blog ni berkisarkan keazaman anak muda menceburi bidang larian- hidup kesepian di pulau Borneo. Cuba sedikit sebanyak mengupas permasalahan semasa, perkembangan sukan bola sepak (it's the opposite for ManUtd actually) dan kisah pengembaraan meneroka dunia. Ada ke patut 2013 takde post langsung. Hmm

Untuk berlaku adil, marilah catatkan sesuatu untuk tatapan masa depan. Best juga menyelusuri ruang waktu lampau. Boleh la Nur Amni jadikan rujukan macam mana la behavior abahnya di alam maya. Be a good girl ok sayang. *Mmmuahciked*

Sebenarnya baru upgrade Unifi, setelah berkali-kali di called. Untunglah promoter tu dapat komisyen. Baiklah untuk penulisan akan datang, senarai topik seperti berikut (tidak mengikut sequence):-

Growing Up and What's Changed

Hi Nur Amni.

Time flies. You are 4 months old now. So many interesting stories to be shared but you wont understand it; hence this post. 

Mommy adjusting well, super busy at night preparing for the next day. Like a chemist in laboratory but only busier. Thawing the milk, strelizing your stuff, switching on stand-fan, arranging bottles and if time permit she will be pumping for stocks- and we are getting freezer because of that! Wohoo.

People said when you have kid(s) at home, once you return from work, you will be energized. I disagree. Truth is we still feel tired, no point hiding it. BUT. You make all of this insignificant. No matter how penat it is, to be with your family is numero uno priority. You are our lifetime assignment and we are proud to have you. Yes, regardless who you will be in the next 5, 10 or 20 years (after that we need to renegotiate, hehe). Watching you growing up is a privilege to us.

Up to this point, we think we know you better in term of your sleeping pattern, why are you crying; we are still clueless on how to make you laugh tho-, when you wanted to sleep, your good moment etc. Way to go, a lot to be learnt for sure.

You've been to places too! Bagan Serai, Penang, Nilai, JB and soon to conquer the world! We will encourage you to see the world; mommy and abah enjoy it very much! 

I've just completed your album via Photobook. Let's hope we will get it in a week time- more to come after that ya. Just go through #NurAmniZT in Instagram, harapnya we will istiqamah enough to post your pictures in social  media though we try to avoid "menunjuk-nunjuk".

Ok lah. Keep growing up at relevance pace cause mommy already worried when I said I wanna buy you L size diapers. Kiss & hugs. Love

Day 11

Alhamdulillah. All went well. Introducing...

Nur Amni binti Nor Fairolzukry

BOD 19th August 2015, 4 Zulqaedah 1436

3.30pm weight 3.52kg

We are happy, blessed and bersyukur for this. From the moment you are about to come out and until now, it has been a new experience to us. Memang besar kuasa Tuhan ni. As a parent mommy and abah will do our best to provide you. It's totally ok if you are crying as long as for a good reason. Waking up at night quite a challenge eventhough I thought I'm prepared for this; stay up for assignment, last minute study, countless midnight gaming session, UCL games etc you are the winner my princess. 

Let's mommy recover and end her pantang, we will have more adventure together. 

New Adventure

Indeed. The most exciting adventure is yet to begin, ke dah since end of last year? Parenthood!! 

Alhamdulillah. We are both thankful for this experience; my other half could be nervous somehow. Of course banyak lagi challenge to the mom to be. Semoga semuanya lancar hingga delivery. Doakan! 

So kid, this entry is for you. That's mommy signing up a membership form; it's not that kitorang ni cheapskate- we want to optimize our spending and get the best for you. We will welcome you to this world dengan penuh kasih sayang. InsyaAllah. Ameen

Day 8: El Ateneo

Uh, Oh! Forgot about this. Let me finish the Argentina trip with this entry. 

So on the last day, I still have time to spend at BA since my flight will be at night but need to check out room at 12 noon- managed to nego defer to about 1 o'clock. Jadi nak buat apa? 

Though my reading I happened to know there is unique bookstore in BA; previously it was an old theatre. The interior still remain very much as theatre setup. Question is, where and how to get to the place? Google for everything nowadays kan. So it helps.. Few subway stations away from my place and a bit of walking, taraaa!

Shared block with other stores, pay attention to the entrance. Or just watch where fellow tourist heading to, this is kinda must visit place for bookworms. 

Main stage. Now become a cafe or place to chill while reading like a boss. So quiete tak dengar bunyi cawan bergesel pun #Manner

The view. Had to put your face here la else kena accuse "setakat gambar internet tak payah nak poyo". Staff sini pun friendly or to put it in other words- they don't mind tengok tourist datang ambil gambar instead of buying the books #TouristSpot

Look at the top. Bukan ex gereja ye. Memang nice setup Kedai ni. Bawah sekali section for music lagu-lagu, ground main area (cafe), second and third floor for books with various sections (sama cam kino, MPH, boarders).

VIP/ bangsawan seating jadi browsing area. The book is something something about cholesterol. In Spanish! How do I know kan, yang penting posing

From other angle. Through my googling to find how to get here, this bookstore is actually ranked no.2 in the world tau in terms of coolness, content, interior yada yada.. No.1 if not mistaken dekat Lisbon. I am not worried much, bookstore kita lagi hipster. Books are sealed, nak baca, kena beli. That's the price for knowledge.

After checked out, I just round round nearby area try to spend the remaining pesos. Before 5 the driver datang pick up  then straight to the airport. I was forced to listen to his selection of music the entire trip. Nice guy though.

Social Media Reality Check

Hi all. Am not going to talk about traveling stuff. Boo! Instead, allow me to share with your my quick social media experiment findings in none other than Facebook platform.

So we went back to Lipis the other weekend and I had this kinda idea in my mind, just not sure yet how to execute it. My hipothesis be like "strangers are easily to give Like in Facebook rather than your known (approved) friends". 

Methodology:

1) Post something on my own status

2) Post something random on others/ public account status; 

Wait and compare which post gained more Like.

At the moment I am so into "On This Day" app by Facebook, so I just posted simple status, as below. In case you don't know the # : it was referring to a different issue. And.. 5 Likes! Okay.. 

Thanks for the Likes tho! 

About an hour before the above, I posted something on others page which was completely unrelated to the original post; on purpose. See below

And...51 Likes!!! Last I checked the post is getting more Like. Cayalah. Most Like I ever have in my Facebook history! I think so

By the way there were also some knee-jerk comments from my post. Apehal? They were like "Aku dah like, pergi berambus", "Dah pergi masuk gua" and "Gila like sangat mamat ni!" #Sentap 

Dik.. Kindly read first before give your comment la. I didn't ask for Like, that was merely a question. Background check, memang budak-budak lagi diorang ni. Ceh

Conclusion by captain obvious, I am just right. Facebook kinda irrelevant anyway, those in your circle won't easily approved your post by liking it. Maybe you are such a drama king/ queen. Hehe. Whilst, those stranger when meet in common platform, tak loket nak like, comment (most of the time judgemental, cari salah, finger pointing etc.). Probably it is because no string is attached.

Ok la. That's that. Nak focus on father to be duty. Who's excited?!
